Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 496 of 2020 (Special Case No. 05 of 2020) for the offence punishable under Sections 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. The recovery of Ganja is from the bomboo clump of co-accused, who has named the petitioner in his self-inculpatory statement. The petitioner has criminal antecedent also. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail is dismissed.
