JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 04-11-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the State and the informant through virtual court proceeding. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.837 of 2019 arising out of Gaurichak P.S. Case No.136 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 364(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

By order dated 24.09.2020, a report was called for in Sessions Trial No.837 of 2019 arising out of Gaurichak P.S. Case No.136 of 2019 from the court of Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Patna City. The said report has been marked at flag 'A' and enclsoed in the said record.

On perusal of the report, learned Additional Sessions Judge submits that the four witnesses have been examined. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24543 of 2020(3) dt.04-11-2020 2/2 I.O. is yet to be examined and summon has been sent to the I.O. Due to present Pandemic Covid-19, the examination of the I.O. is not taken place.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.837 of 2019 arising out of Gaurichak P.S. Case No.136 of 2019 pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Patna City, Patna is hereby rejected. However, the learned trial court is directed to complete the trial of the petitioner within six months. Accordingly, this application stands disposed of. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) Nasimul/- U T
