JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 02-03-2016 Sri Rajeev Ranjan, learned counsel for the petitioner, in presence of learned AC to AAG No. 4 submits that during the pendency of the writ petition the petitioner has already been granted promotion as Inspector of Police. Of-course he has raised certain dispute regarding the date of promotion, the court is of the opinion that since relief in respect of claim of promotion of the petitioner has already been granted, there is no need to pass any positive order in the writ petition. If the petitioner feels aggrieved regarding the date of promotion, he would be at liberty to avail appropriate remedy.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
