In the counter affidavit, the respondents have denied that any work was taken by them from the petitioner. They take a stand that the certificates are forged and fabricated and had not been issued by the then Block Development Officer. Besides, there are no records available to show the engagement or any kind of payment having been made to the petitioner from the office of the respondents.
