JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH) 18-08-2025 A report dated 17.01.2024 has been sent to this Court by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Beur Police Station, Patna wherein it has been stated that the appellant of Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 288 of 1996 i.e. Harinandan Sinha has died on 09.05.2004 and in support thereof his death certificate dated 29.07.2004 issued by the Deputy Superintendent-cum-Registrar (Birth & Death), Patna Medical College and Hospital, Patna, has been annexed. 2.

We have no reason to disbelieve the aforesaid fact of the death of the appellant Harinandan Sinha, hence the present appeal stands abated.
