1. The petitioner has prayed the following relief:-

(1) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.5 to comply with the decision taken on 28.05.2013 by the Aam Sabha of Gram Panchayat Raj Madhuban (as contained in Annexure-1) duly presided by the respondent no.5 and considering the merit list duly prepared by the Aam Sabha, the petitioner was appointed on the post of Anganwadi Sevika but since 28.05.2013 the respondent sat over the matter and did not issue the appointment letter which is a newly created Anganwadi Center.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18520 of 2013(2) dt.19-01-2023 2/2 In the opinion of this Court, the writ petition for appointment on the post of Anganwadi worker is not maintainable, as held in C.W.J.C. No.21963/2014 which is held as under:- "2. The post of Anganwadi worker does not fall within the purview of the State or Subordinate Services and is a post under a scheme regulated by guidelines which are not enforceable in law. In view thereof, the writ petition would not lie with regard to the selection process of Anganwadi worker."

3. Keeping in view thereto, the writ petition is dismissed.
