2. This quashing application is filed for setting aside the order dated 01.07.2014, passed by learned CJM, Buxar in Sikroul PS Case No.77 of 2013 by which cognizance has been taken under Sections 467, 468, 472 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner is Panchayat Rojgar Sewak. He was earlier posted in Belhari Panchayat in the district of Buxar and on the day of lodging the case, he was posted in Itarahi Block and on the complaint filed by some persons, the house of the petitioner was raided and 450 plain job cards of MANREGA and 16 cards of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43516 of 2014 dt.19-04-2018 2/2 some labourers of Belhari Panchayat were recovered from his house. Even during investigation it transpired that job card of the people of Belhari Panchayat were found in his possession though he was not Panchayat Sewak of that area and during investigation it also transpired that the persons, in whose names job cards were found, have not been paid any money despite the work done by them, so it is not that no offence is disclosed, so finding no merit this quashing application stands dismissed.
