Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to make correction in the name of the petitioner. Let the name of the petitioner be read as Mansura Khatoon.
The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 07 of 2020 dated 13.01.2020 instituted for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 504, 307 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged in the First Information Report that one Md. Sajid was assaulting his sister and mother when the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25703 of 2020(2) dt.14-10-2020 2/2 informant and his brother Md. Sajjad tried to intervene. This led to a dispute between the brothers. The petitioner is the wife of Md. Sajid, who has been made accused in this case by the brother of her husband. The actual act of assault on Md. Sah Alam is attributed to the husband of the petitioner. Regard being had to the nature of accusation, relationship between the parties and the gender of the petitioner, she is directed to be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate -I, Katihar, in connection with Barsoi P.S.
