2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

Patna High Court CWJC No.6097 of 2026(2) dt.05-05-2026 2/3 "for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur to correct the current Revisional Survey Khatiyan in which petitioners' land has wrongly been entered in the name of other persons in view of Kramik/Cadastral Khatiyan in which the land in question is recorded in name of petitioners ancestors namely Late Ganesh Mandal son of Late Fuchai Mandal of Village/ Mouja-Borba, land situated in Thana No.121, Thana-Bihpur, at present-Parbatta, AnchalNaugachhia, Mouja-Borba, District-Bhagalpur, Old Khata no.28, Old Khesra no.78, 80, area 38 decimals. But in the revisional survey its New Khata no.101, New Khesra no.196 and Rakba0.38 decimal stands in another person's name which will clear by seeing the trace map etc. Further prayer of the petitioners in this case is that after correction in the Revisional Survey Khatiyan the Jamabandi be created in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6097 of 2026(2) dt.05-05-2026 3/3 petitioners' name and rent receipt be granted in their name.

And/or pass such other order or orders as your Lordships may deem fit and proper."

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that they shall be approaching the respondent No. 5, the District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur in next four weeks.

4. In that case, the concerned respondent No. 5. The District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur shall be duty bound to take up the matter and after hearing all the necessary parties will conclude the matter and pass an appropriate order in next six months.
