2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Purnahiya P.S. Case No. 111 of 2023, registered for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner and other accused persons are said to have stabbed the deceased and killed him after looting.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 31.08.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submits that three witnesses have already been examined in the trial. Materials have come during investigation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32715 of 2024(4) dt.25-10-2024 2/2 including the self inculpatory statement of the petitioner and other accused persons which shows the involvement of the petitioner in the crime. The deceased has been killed in a brutal manner.

6. Considering the materials against the petitioner and the self inculpatory statement of the petitioner in the crime, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
