2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nabinagar P.S. Case No. 310/23 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 354, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, the accused persons named therein including the petitioner assaulted the informant by means of sword to commit murder. Further allegation is that when the mother of the informant came to his rescue, the accused persons also assaulted

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submitted that petitioner has twenty two criminal antecedents and it appears that he is veteran criminal.
6. Having considered the rival submissions made on behalf of the parties, as well as the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, who is having twenty two criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the present bail application stands dismissed. (Purnendu Singh, J) Sanjay/- U T
