JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 19-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Fatuah P.S. Case No.225 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504 and 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation has been made that the marriage of the daughter of the informant was fixed with the son of the petitioner no.1, but later the petitioners have refused to enter into the marriage on the ground that the ring ceremony was performed with another girl.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40453 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 Looking to the aforesaid facts, let the above-named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M., Patna City, in connection with Fatuah P.S. Case No.225 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
