JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-10-2020 Heard Ms. Bandana Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 196 of 2020, dated 02.04.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 354, 354(B), 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner and one Vikash Paswan are said

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26939 of 2020(2) dt.19-10-2020 2/3 to have abused the informant at her house. On protest, Vikash Paswan is said to have hurled a Gransa blow on the head of the daughter of the informant as a result of which, she became injured.

The petitioner and his associate/Vikash Paswan are also alleged to have assaulted the informant by Lathi. The petitioner is specifically alleged to have made attempts at outraging the modesty of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that admittedly there is a land dispute between the parties and the informant is none else, but the aunt of the petitioner.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 03.04.2020.

Regard being had to the relationship between the parties and the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,
