2. This application has been filed for modification of the order and extension of time dated 17.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc No. 55178 of 2022, whereby the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail and was directed to surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks' from the date of the order.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender within the time stipulated in the earlier order and has prayed for grant of four weeks' time for the same.

4. It is further submitted that the petitioner is willing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28984 of 2026(2) dt.21-07-2026 2/2 to deposit a sum of Rs. 25,000/- to some charitable organization, without prejudice to his case.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the present modification application is allowed.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted four weeks' further time from today to surrender before the concerned Court below, subject to condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand Only) in Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Swami Vivekananda Path, Bela, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and shall produce a valid receipt thereof before the concerned Court below at the time of furnishing his bail bonds. The bail bonds shall be accepted only after verification of the genuineness of the said receipt.

7. This application is allowed with the modification as indicated above.
