JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-08-2025 Heard Mr. Amal Kumar Sinha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Md. Matloob Rab, learned APP for the State and Mr. Ashish Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the informant.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 1338 of 2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 115(2), 352, 318(4), 61(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2) of the BNS.

3. Considering the nature of allegation made in the FIR, as well as, the offence being purely civil in nature, the matter can be resolved by amicable settlement and in absence of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25057 of 2025(3) dt.13-08-2025 2/2 any step taken for outside Court settlement, I find that the matter is required to be remitted back to the learned District Court. The learned District Court will proceed to see, whether the parties can resolve their dispute amicably by referring the matter before the learned Mediator of the District Mediation Centre.

4. The parties are directed to appear before the learned District Court on 21.08.2025.

5. Till then, no coercive step shall be taken against the petitioner.

6. In case of failure, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall lose its force.

7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
