CORAM:
HONOURABLE MR.
JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-01-2016 The petitioner was appointed as Lower Division Clerk in the year 1987 in the Water Resources Department and was posted in the office of Special Land Acquisition Officer, Muzaffarpur. The petitioner's appointment was terminated in the year 2004 on the ground that the appointment seems suspicious. Being aggrieved, the petitioner filed an appeal before the Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar on 9.4.2008 which was rejected by order dated 7.5.2008 (Annexure-10).
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all that he has received is the communication dated 7.5.2008 from which it would appear that no substantial reason has been assigned for
Patna High Court CWJC No.11922 of 2008 (2) dt.12-01-2016 dismissing the appeal.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, the Appellate Order is set aside and the matter is remitted to the Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal by a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. In the result, this writ application is allowed to the extent indicated above.
