The petitioner is in custody since 23.01.2019 in connection with Special Case No.886 of 2019, arising out of P.R.P.S. Case No.157 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was merely a driver of the vehicle which had been hired by the another person and he was not having knowledge that said material is being carried in this car.
