BAJANTHRI) Date : 10-05-2024 The present M.J.C./Contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 05.07.2021 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 4082 of 2021.

2. The limited direction is asking the petitioner to submit representation within a period of 04 weeks and thereafter, the concerned Authority was required to comply within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of the representation. Now, the orders has been passed and the same has been placed on record by means of Show Cause and order of compliance is dated 04.03.2024 (Annexure - B).

3. Having regard to the belated compliance, the petitioner is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified at Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand). Cost shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of 08 weeks. Cost has been imposed for the reasons that respondent had every right to approach this Court in seeking extension of time, if there are any administrative difficulty in implementing the orders of this Court. However, there is a delay of about more than two years. Therefore, they are liable to pay cost.

4. Accordingly, the present M.J.C. stands dropped, reserving liberty to the petitioner assail the impugned action of the respondent in accordance with law.
