JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-09-2020 The present petition has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report of Sherghatty P.S. Case No. 151 of 2016, dated 06.04.2016, which has been registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Mr. Gauri Shankar Gupta, learned APP has pointed out that this is a case of the year 2016 and in all its

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41977 of 2016(2) dt.18-09-2020 2/2 probability, the investigation of this case must have been completed by now.

However, if the investigation is still pending, it ought to be concluded within a period of three months from today. This order shall be implemented only if the investigation has remained pending.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the application stands disposed off.
