This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners are parents and cousin uncle of the husband of the victim, Madina Bibi, who died within few months of marriage in matrimonial house. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same.
Submission is that the petitioners are separate from their son and cousin father-in-law is residing elsewhere. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, above named. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 154 of 2016 pending in the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan. (Birendra Kumar, J) SA/- U √ T √
