The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 474 of the Indian Penal Code.
Co-accused Rita Devi was, allegedly, appointed as a teacher on contract basis on the basis of forged academic certificates. The petitioner was member of the Appointment Committed.
Submission of the petitioner is that the appointments were made, initially, on production of academic certificates by the concerned candidates and forgery of the same was not alleged against the petitioner. Moreover, Rita Devi has already
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36102 of 2017 (5) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 been allowed anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 03.03.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 7639 of 2017. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad/successor Court in connection with Parasbigha Police Station Case No. 114 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
