Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that the claim for promotion raised in the instant writ proceedings
Patna High Court CWJC No.14932 of 2006(9) dt.22-11-2019 2/2 has been rejected by a well considered and reasoned order dated 23.12.2005. Petitioners have been found not to be entitled to promotion as Senior Auditor or Superintendent. All of them have retired way back in the year, 1997 itself. Since, none appears on behalf of the petitioners, without going into the merits of the submission, writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
