Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. As per the prosecution case, 710.935 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of the petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the alleged recovery has been made from the abandoned house of the petitioner. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner in paragraph 3 of the bail petition that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the amount of illegal liquor recovered, I am not inclined to grant him bail. Accordingly, the bail application stands rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Ankit/- U T
