2. The petitioner, who is in custody since 30.11.2024, seeks regular bail in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 498 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 349/34 of the Indian Penal Code and later on, Section 302 of the IPC was added.

3. As per the prosecution case, accused persons assaulted the informant's husband by weapons and snatched a mobile phone, cash amount, gold locket from the informant on the point of pistol.

4. It has come during investigation that the petitioner and others including Md. Haidar had intercepted the victim and thereafter brutally assaulted him and forced him to withdraw

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27026 of 2025(2) dt.06-05-2025 2/2 money from the ATM and during treatment, the deceased died. The petitioner is in custody since 30.11.2024 and is accused in two more similar and serious cases.

5. Considering the nature of the crime and the brutal killing of the deceased, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
