The Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/149/341/323/307/379/448/506 of the Indian Penal Code. During the course of assault the petitioner allegedly caused injury at the head of the informant with lathi. Submission is that there is case and counter-case, petitioner has also sustained injury and the doctor has found simple injury on the person of the injured.

Considering the fact that the petitioner had knowledge that his act might cause death, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with
