Mr.Bharat Bhushan, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 27-10-2021 Under order dated 06.03.2020 passed in Cr.Misc. No.71304 of 2019, anticipatory bail was allowed to the petitioners, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order in the court below.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35833 of 2021(2) dt.27-10-2021 2/2 Counsel for the petitioners submits that thereafter nationwide lockdown was enforced on account of COVID-19 pandemic and the time granted by this Court lapsed. It is only when the normalcy restored, the petitioners filed an application for extension of time for surrender to enable them to avail the benefit of the order dated 06.03.2020.

The Court finds the said reason as sufficient cause for extension of time for surrender.

Time granted vide order dated 06.03.2020 stands extended by two weeks from today.

Modification application stands allowed.

This Court would expect that the petitioners' counsel would honour his undertaking in the instant proceedings regarding supply of the requisite court fee etc. within two weeks from the date he is called upon to do so by the office. (Madhuresh Prasad, J) PNM U T
