The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.980 of 2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 323, 379, 504/34 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Case is under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Aurangabad and on appearance of the O.P.no.2, report of the Mediator is available at flag 'M', which discloses that the matter has been resolved between the parties on payment of one time settlement of Rs.2,75,000/-. It further appears from the report that the jewelry and other articles have already been returned to the O.P.no.2 and the terms and conditions of the agreement

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24366 of 2019(5) dt.04-09-2019 2/2 discloses that the petitioner has to pay Rs.2,75,000/- in three installment within a period of three months in the A/C no.0841001700124121 of Punjab National Bank , Rafiganj IFSC Code PUNB0084100 and thereafter both the parties will bring a joint application for divorce on mutual consent . Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is extended vide order dated 22.4.2019 for a period of three months and during that period the petitioner shall appear before the learned court below on 28.11.2019 and the O.P.no.2 shall also remain present there on that day and the petitioner has to pay Rs.2,75,000/- in the account as mentioned above and once he deposited the same and produce receipt with respect to the same, the leaned court below on being satisfied with the same ,shall confirm the bail bond of the petitioner. With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
