10-11-2016 Heard Sri Rana Vikram Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rajendra Prasad Nat, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.
The sole petitioner, who is accused in Asarganj P.S. Case No. 28 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 20/22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 on an allegation of recovery of about 50 kg of Ganja from his house, has approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail. A plea has been taken that the house, from where recovery was shown, does not belong to the petitioner, but it is house of one another person and due to animosity, the petitioner has falsely been implicated.
Considering the fact disclosed in the F.I.R. showing
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43516 of 2016 (2) dt.10-11-2016 2/2 recovery of huge quantity of Ganja, there is no question for entertaining a petition for anticipatory bail. Dismissed.
