The short prayer of the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Circle Officer, Hathua, Gopalganj, to dispose off the pending Encroachment Case No. 28 of 2018-19. 2.
The learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that in case, the aforesaid encroachment proceedings are still pending, the same would definitely be concluded within a
Patna High Court CWJC No.6252 of 2023 dt.05-07-2023 2/2 stipulated time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Circle Officer, Hathua, Gopalganj, to dispose off the aforesaid Encroachment Case No. 28 of 2018-19, in case the same has not already been disposed off, by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, after hearing the affected parties and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
