The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. Allegation is that petitioner along with others caused death of daughter of informant due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry. It is submitted that petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. Allegation of torture for dowry is general and omnibus. Main accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of the deceased. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

No.26603 of 2022(2) dt.20-09-2022 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of her arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 5th, Jamui in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 23 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
