2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Agiaon(G) P.S. Case No. 192 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 3(5), 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The petitioner and others are said to have assaulted the victim. The post-mortem report supports the prosecution case.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the deceased fell down and thereafter the deceased sustained injuries. The petitioner is in custody since 16.11.2024.

6. Considering the direct allegation of assault against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby dismissed.
