2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for quashing the letter dated 19.07.2025 vide Memo no. 1413 passed by the Licencing Officer-cum-Divisional Forest Officer, Saharsa, Forest Division, Saharsa whereby and whereunder the claim of the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.5972 of 2026(2) dt.14-05-2026 2/3 with regard to transfer of the Saw Mill Licence no. 55(s)/ 94 has been rejected without any reason;

(ii) for direction to the Respondent no. 4 to dispose of the pending appeal filed by the petitioner against the order dated 19.07.2025 vide Memo no. 1413 vide Appeal no. 15/25 which is pending before the conservator of Forest Anchal, Purnea since long;

(iii) for direction to the Respondent authorities for transfer the Licence of Saw mill on the basis of sale executed by the husband of the respondent no. 8 in favour of the petitioner in terms of the Wood Based Industries (Establishment & Regulation) Guide, 2016 framed by the Government of India and the Bihar Wood Based Industries (Establishment & Regulation) Bill-2020;

(iv) for issuance of any other writ or writs/ order or orders as your Lordships may

Learned counsel for the petitioner has come with the simple prayer that for the disposal of the appeal preferred by him against the order dated 19.07.2025 passed by the Licensing Officer cum Divisional Forest Officer, Saharsa, Forest Division, Saharsa, the appeal is lying before the respondent no. 02, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest cum Chairman, State Level Committee, Bihar, Patna.

4. Learned State counsel submits that the matter will be taken to its logical conclusion, if the same still has not been disposed of.

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that the petition preferred before the respondent no. 02 duly received in the office 14.08.2025 be disposed of at an earliest.
