2. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the office order contained in Memo No. 984 dated 02.06.2011 issued under the signature of District Magistrate, Gaya whereby and whereunder the engagement of the petitioner to the post of Panchayat Rojgar Sevak has been cancelled.

3. Without going into the detailed merits of the claim of the petitioner, this Court takes note that the appointment of the petitioner as Panchayat Sevak was contractual for a limited period of

4. The writ petition has thus clearly become infructuous by efflux of time. The writ petition stands dismissed.
