2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief/s:- "for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur to correct the current Revisional

Patna High Court CWJC No.6865 of 2025(3) dt.23-06-2026 2/2 Survey Khatiyan in which petitioners land has wrongly been entered in the name of other persons in view of Bandobasti Hukumnama/khatiyan in which the land in question is entered in name of petitioners ancestor.

And/or pass such other order or orders as your Lordships may deem fit and proper."

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that they shall be approaching the respondent No. 5, the District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur in next four weeks.

4. In that case, the concerned respondent No. 5, the District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur shall be duty bound to take up the matter and after hearing all the necessary parties will conclude the matter and pass an appropriate order in next six months.
