The present writ petition has been filed for consideration of the case of the original petitioner for promotion to Junior Selection Grade, Senior Selection Grade and Supertime Scale in the service/cadre of Bihar Animal Husbandry Services (post of veterinary officer) w.e.f. 01.04.1989, 01.04.1992 and 01.04.1995 respectively, and to allow all consequential benefits to the petitioner pursuant to his promotion in the above said category/posts with
Patna High Court CWJC No.14551 of 2008 dt.24-08-2017 retrospective effect.
3. Without going into the detailed merits of the mater and with the consent of the parties, this writ petition is being disposed of on the basis of stand of the respondents in para-8 of the counter affidavit to the effect that the case of promotion of the original petitioner along with similarly situated persons on selection grade posts is already under consideration and the matter is in process for decision by the Departmental Promotion Committee.
4. It is expected that a final decision by the Departmental Promotion Committee would be taken expeditiously. Needless to say, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court against the final decision of the Departmental Promotion Committee. (Vikash Jain, J) Md.
