====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is aggrieved by non-payment of salary by the respondents.
Learned counsel submits that the certificate of the petitioner was verified by the respondent after appointment but till date they have not passed any order with regard to payment of the salary of the petitioner. He further submits that respondents are custodian of the record and as such this writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to verify the record and pass appropriate order ensuring
Patna High Court CWJC No.17210 of 2014(2) dt.03-08-2018 2/2 payment of salary, as well as current arrears. Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Bhojpur, Arrah, to see that payment of arrears and current salary be made to the petitioner. In the event of delay on the part of Panchayat Secretary for making payment of salary, it shall be the obligation of the District Programme Officer, Bhojpur, Arrah to take all coercive steps for ensuring payment of salary on verification of validity of the appointment of the petitioner. Entire exercise in this regard must be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of.
