JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-08-2017 In the present writ application, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs1.

For issuance of an order, direction or writ including writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondents to make payment of arrears of salary to the petitioner from January, 2002.

For issuance of an order direction or writ including writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondents to make

For issuance of an order, direction or writ including writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondents to make payment of interest on the aforesaid arrears of salary from the date it was due till the date payment is made at the rate of 18% per annum 4.

For issuance of an appropriate declaration that petitioner is entitled for payment of his arrears as well as current salary.

On behalf of the University, it has been submitted that during pendency of the writ application, the services of the petitioner has already been absorbed so a limited relief is only to be addressed on behalf of the University.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, and reliefs sought for, in the present writ application, the petitioner is directed to make a representation before the Respondent no.4 i.e. The Vice Chancellor, B.N. Mandal University, Laloo Nagar, Madhepura within a period of eight

Patna High Court CWJC No.19488 of 2011 (6) dt.31-08-2017 3/3 weeks. The Vice Chancellor shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order, in accordance with law, within a period of six months, from the date of filing of such representation.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
