The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i) For issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the letter dated 18.10.2021 passed by the Disciplinary Authority-cum-Assistant General Manager whereby the Disciplinary Authority has imposed punishment for dismissal from the service without notice with further observation that the period of suspension will be treated as not on duty.

(ii) For further quashing of the letter dated 9th May 2022 passed by the Appellate

Patna High Court CWJC No.7944 of 2023(2) dt.28-11-2023 2/2 Authority-cum-Deputy General Manager, Local Head Office, State Bank of India, Patna whereby appeal filed by the petitioner has been rejected.

(iii)For further direction to the Respondent authorities to reconsider the case of the petitioner considering that the alleged amount has already been deposited by the petitioner and second show cause notice was not given before dismissal nor before issuing order of punishment the enquiry report was supplied to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including approaching the learned Labour/Industrial Tribunal. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
