2. The instant writ application has been filed by the petitioner seeking family pension from 30.07.2020 till date alongwith 12.5% penal interest apart of statutory interest and for other necessary relief(s) on the basis of facts and circumstances of the case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, pursuant to the letter dated 12.09.2025 issued by the Department of Water Resources, State of Bihar, Patna, the necessary verification regarding the petitioner has been carried out, and the appropriate certificate has already been sent to the office of

Patna High Court CWJC No.6642 of 2025(3) dt.07-11-2025 2/2 the concerned respondent to carry out the formalities for making the payment of pension, as per the letter dated 25.09.2025.

4. In view of such verification having been completed and the necessary report having been submitted by the Department of Water Resources, it is expected that the concerned respondents shall take a final decision within a period of four weeks from today, and the necessary sanction order shall be sent to the Office of the Accountant General so that the pension and other pensionary benefits are settled in favor of the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
