Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 707 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(ii), 34(ii), 38(ii) and 41(i). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.03.2023 and there is recovery of 203.016 liters of illicit liquor.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.

No.27545 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of six months in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise Court No. 02, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection Mahua P.S. Case No. 707 of 2019.

The petitioner will visit Mahua Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
