The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that victim was kidnapped for the purposes of marriage by Rahul Kumar and allegation has been made against the petitioner to have assisted Rahul Kumar. The statement made under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure makes it very clear that she has gone along with Rahul Kumar for her own volition.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11836 of 2018 (2) dt.27-02-2018 let petitioner, namely, Mantu Kumar alias Mintu Kumar, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Patna City in connection with Fatuah P.S. Case No.307 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
