The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maranchi P. S. Case No. 84 of 2019 dated 26.07.2019, instituted for offences under Sections 302, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27012 of 2020(2) dt.20-10-2020 2/3 The allegation in the F.I.R. is that one Tuntun Bind took away the son of the informant who was later found to have been killed.

The learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no allegation except for the stray statement of the witnesses that the petitioner and others were seen fleeing away from the place of occurrence.

Considering these materials, one of the accused persons of this case, namely, Anil Mahto has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court whereas another accused person, namely, Santosh Kumar has been granted bail by a different Bench of this Court. The petitioner is in custody since 15.10.2019 and claims to be a farmer.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like
