In pursuance to the earlier order of this Court dated 06.03.2018, two affidavits have been filed and the Principal Secretary, Industry Department is also present, in person, before this Court.

A cheque of Rs. 25,37,592/- dated 14.03.2018 has been raised in the name of Mahanth Devendra Prasad Acharya. After comparing the said amount mentioned in the cheque and the calculation chart submitted through affidavit, it appears that the interest up to 05.12.2017 only has been added and the payment of interest up to date has not been paid to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner receives the aforesaid cheque in the Court room itself.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18148 of 2014 dt.27-03-2018 2/2 This Court gives direction to give the cheque or draft of the rest portion of interest amount within a period of one month from today and the interest should be up to the date of issuance of the cheque.

Accordingly, this writ application is disposed of. The personal appearance of Principal Secretary, Industry Department is dispensed with.
