2. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State which is taken on record.

3. The present application has been filed to direct the respondent no. 3 to pay the arrears of rent to the petitioner.

4. It is an admitted fact that the rent has been paid after delay by the respondents. In these circumstances, the respondents are directed to pay simple interest at the rate of 6% per annum.

5. The interest must be paid by the respondents within six weeks from today, failing which the respondents will be
