The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patna Rail P.S. Case No. 450 of 2018 registered under Sections 379/411 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that when the informant Abhishek Kumar was travelling on train from Danapur to Bhagalpur, in the way when the train stopped at Patna Sahib Station, one person gave a lathi blow on his hand as a result of which his mobile fell down and the petitioner started fleeing away with the said mobile. On alarm being raised, other passengers after chase apprehended him with the mobile.

No.23620 of 2019(2) dt.12-04-2019 2/2 The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that due to some petty dispute at Patna Sahib Station, this petitioner was assaulted by the informant and handed over to the police showing the allegation of snatching of mobile. After investigation, police has submitted charge-sheet against the petitioner. He has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 11.12.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on execution of bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Railway, Patna in connection with Patna Rail P.S. Case No. 450 of 2018.
