Petitioners, being the father-in-law and mother-in-law respectively apprehend their arrest in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case No. 202/16, registered under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the I.P.C., have approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail.

Within two years of marriage, the victim was done to death in a suspicious circumstances while staying at 'Sasural' on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the State points out that there is specific allegation against the petitioners of having demanded dowry and used to torture the victim for non-fulfillment of same.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36767 of 2017(3) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of the allegation, the Court is disinclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail. Prayer for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, rejected.

The petitioners shall surrender and pray for regular bail which shall be considered on its own merit in accordance with law.
