2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 364, 365 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that on 16.02.2022 at around 4:30 PM, when son of informant, namely Prabhash, was at his medical shop, in the meantime, a black Scorpio vehicle bearing Registration No. JH01R0019 consisting of five people came there and forcefully took him. It is alleged that accused persons called informant and asked to bring his another son, namely Vikram Jha, otherwise they would kill his son, namely Prabhash.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired in this case during course of investigation on the confessional statement of co-accused Chandan Kamat @ Chandan Kumar, who has already been granted the privilege of regular bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 10.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 13738 of 2023. It is further submitted that petitioner is neither owner of the alleged Scorpio vehicle nor he has got any concern with the alleged occurrence and during trial of S.T. No. 163/2023, the victim as well as informant, in their deposition, have not stated anything about involvement of this petitioner in the alleged occurrence. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the nature of accusation and clean antecedents of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.
7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above named

No.24290 of 2025(2) dt.01-05-2025 3/3 petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge - X, Madhubani in connection with Pandaul P.S. Case No. 294 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S..
