The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 31 of 2021 dated 20.01.2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. In view of recovery of 52 litres of liquor from the hut of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory to him.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and seeks bail, his application shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced by
