The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Atri P.S. Case No.12 of 2024 registered for the offence under sections 342, 323 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The petitioner is accused of committing rape upon the victim. He is in custody since 13.01.2024. 4.

Considering the fact that the victim has herself stated that the petitioner has raped her, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is dismissed. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
