For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Manish Chandra Gandhi For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Sri Surendra Prasad Singh ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 07-12-2016 Heard both sides.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Panapur P.S. Case No. 45/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that he married his daughter to Manoj Mahto, son of the petitioners in the month of January, 2015 but after 2 to 3 months of marriage, the husband, father-in-law (Petitioner No. 1), mother-in-law (Petitioner No. 2) and other family members began to demand additional dowry. The accused persons killed his daughter and threw her dead body in canal. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no specific allegation against the petitioners. The dead body was

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46776 of 2016 (2) dt.07-12-2016 2/2 recovered from the canal but the cause of death of the deceased was electrocution. The case is compromised.

It appears that within one and half years of marriage, the daughter of the informant was killed and her dead body was thrown in a canal which was recovered.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
